Write for us
Select Screen Stories welcomes pitches that help general readers make sense of screens, formats and the choices around their use. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a complete article without an invitation.
Ideas we welcome
We are interested in clear explainers, fair comparisons, screen history, thoughtful examinations of common assumptions and practical planning for a particular reading or viewing situation. A pitch should have a distinct question and a useful answer for readers.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the working title, the central idea, why it suits Select Screen Stories and the main points you would cover. Be specific about the reader’s takeaway, avoid unsupported claims and explain any specialist terms the piece would need.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send a pitch. Include a short note about your relevant experience if it helps explain your approach; no particular credential is required. We cannot promise acceptance or a response by a particular date.
A screen is a choice, not just a surface
The right screen depends on what you want to do with it. We look past labels to the decisions that shape a useful, comfortable fit.
